About SriLalita MahaTripuraSundari Veda Patasala
The SLMTS Veda Patasala was established with the Divine Grace of Sri Jagadguru Sringeri Acharyas on April 28, 2017 (Akshaya Tritiya) in Hyderabad. The Patasala is run as a part of a public charitable trust by the name “Sri GuruKrupa Veda Samrakshana Educational Society”. It is located in P&T Colony, New Bakaram, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Our Vision
- Imparting Veda Adhyayanam and Smartha Prayogam to qualified students (both children and adults) to propagate values of Sanathana Dharma
- Imparting Puranokta Pooja Vidhi and Stotra Nama Patanam to qualified students
- Supporting various other Charitable Organizations involved in preserving Vedic Tradition, including Vedic teaching, Gau-Rakshana, Feeding the hungry, Providing Medical care to less fortunate and those Imparting the tenets of Sanathana Dharma.
- Undertaking various charitable initiatives, especially in times of need, including feeding Annarthees, who are less fortunate than some of us.
Blessings and Guidance of our Elders
Sri Pochimcherla Subramanyam garu and Smt. Vardhanamma garu were pillars of the community, who taught shraddha, bhakti, and anushTanam to their family and those around them. They emphasized the importance of following our parampara and samskruti, adhyayana (studying the scriptures) and adhyapakatva (teaching the scriptures), and giving to those in need (dAna satkriya). Following in their footsteps, the family continues to be inspired to follow the path of dharma.
What We Do
- Our students: Globally, the Patasala currently has over 100 students, all studying or working in loukika vruttis (regular studies or jobs) who attend our Sooktam, Smartham, Vedam and Puranokta Pooja Classes.
- Classes strictly follow sadaachaaram:
- All classes are conducted with a defined syllabus, with course guidelines, assessments and certifications. Sadaachaaram in etiquette and attendance requirements are prescribed to all students.
- In-person classes: Classes are held at our Gandhinagar, Hyderabad location.
- Online classes: Classes are conducted via WebEx and Zoom for global students.
